First Look at the Peak Design “Outdoor line”

Dragon 2.0 comes in four timeless colorways, features a more EDC-friendly size while maintaining light travel capability, includes a redesigned modular Stick-It, and boasts morale patch artwork hand-drawn by the renowned Dan Matsuda.

Feast your eyes on the Peak Design x Carryology Essentials collab, a capsule of 6 of PD’s most popular and iconic photography products with aesthetic and functional upgrades tailored to those who love obsessing over the details, just like us.

At its core, Peak Design is — and always will be — a carry brand. And in all our years of business, there has been one publication/community that gets us more than any other: Carryology. A dedicated team of bag nerds and design enthusiasts, the folks at Carryology are our people. A product collaboration between us was inevitable, and after countless tradeshow beers and email threads, we finally pulled the trigger.

The capsule consists of special edition Slide, Slide Lite, Leash, and Cuff camera straps, a special edition Capture clip, and a special edition Mobile Tripod. The hardgoods products are laser-etched with Carryology’s signature Auxikko pattern — a name coined from the ancient Japanese Kikkō (hexagonal plates built into Samurai body armor) — and auxetics, which are materials engineered to grow strong under stress. Peak Design x Carryology camera straps incorporate bands of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) thread, making them significantly more slash-proof than our standard straps.

These products are part of the Carryology Essentials program, a series of product collabs that Carryology hand-picked to recognize best-in-class everyday carry gear.
